STOCKROOM601

QUEEN OF HEARTS OFFICIAL RULES

Effective Date: July 14, 2026

Please read these rules before purchasing a ticket. By purchasing or submitting a ticket, each participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to follow all rules listed below.

1. PURPOSE OF THE GAME

AAC Mgmt LLC, dba Stockroom601, operates the Queen of Hearts game as a pool not conducted for profit.

Stockroom601 does not keep any portion of ticket sales or jackpot money. All money collected from ticket sales will be:

  • Paid to the Queen of Hearts winner according to the payout rules below; or
  • Carried forward as part of the current or next Queen of Hearts jackpot.

No Queen of Hearts money will be used to pay Stockroom601’s operating expenses, employees, vendors, advertising costs, or winners of any other game.

2. WHO MAY PARTICIPATE

Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time a ticket is purchased.

The following individuals are not eligible to purchase tickets, receive tickets, participate in a drawing, or claim a prize:

  • Current employees of Stockroom601;
  • Owners or members of Stockroom601;
  • Anyone living in the same household as a Stockroom601 employee or owner;
  • Anyone purchasing or submitting a ticket on behalf of an ineligible person; and
  • Anyone prohibited from participating under federal, state, or local law.

Stockroom601 may require identification before selling a ticket or paying a prize.

A ticket purchased or submitted by an ineligible person is void. An ineligible person cannot receive a prize directly or indirectly through another person.

3. GAME BOARD

The game board contains:

  • 52 standard playing cards; and
  • 2 Jokers.

There are 54 numbered positions, numbered 1 through 54.

Each card is placed on a sealed, numbered board purchased from a third party, All-Star Gaming, before the game begins. The card assigned to each number remains unknown until that number is officially opened.  No person at Stockroom601, AAC Mgmt LLC, or any Stockmeister company have any knowledge or insight into any card location or number.

Once a numbered position has been opened, it is no longer available for selection during the current game.  Cards revealed will be signed and returned to the board face up so that players know what cards have been revealed.

The game continues until the Queen of Hearts is revealed.

4. TICKET PRICE AND PURCHASES

Tickets cost $5 each.

There is no limit on the number of tickets an eligible participant may purchase unless Stockroom601 announces a temporary purchase limit before sales begin for that drawing period.

Tickets are sold only behind the bar at Stockroom601 during the posted ticket-sale hours.

Tickets may not be:

  • Purchased by telephone, text message, email, or social media;
  • Reserved without payment;
  • Purchased after the sales deadline;
  • Altered after being submitted;
  • Sold, assigned, transferred, or given to another person after purchase; or
  • Reused in a future drawing.

Payment must be received before a ticket is placed into the drawing container.

5. REQUIRED TICKET INFORMATION

Every ticket must clearly include:

  1. The participant’s legal first and last name;
  2. A working telephone number, including area code; and
  3. One available card number from 1 through 54.

Only one participant may be listed on a ticket. Group names, business names, nicknames, initials, aliases, “and/or” entries, or multiple names are not permitted.

The name on the ticket must match the identification presented by the winner.

A ticket will be void if:

  • The participant’s legal name is missing or cannot be reasonably read;
  • More than one person is named;
  • The ticket appears to have been altered;
  • The ticket contains conflicting information;
  • The selected card number was already opened before the ticket was purchased;
  • The ticket was not paid for;
  • The participant is not eligible;
  • The ticket was submitted after the deadline; or
  • Management determines that the ticket was duplicated, copied, tampered with, fraudulently obtained, or otherwise violates these rules.

If a drawn ticket is void, it receives no prize and another ticket will be drawn.

Missing card number

When an otherwise valid ticket does not contain a card number, Stockroom601 will randomly select one number from the positions still available at the time of the drawing.

The participant may not reject or change the number selected by Stockroom601.

Unavailable or unclear card number

If the card number is unreadable, lists more than one number, or identifies a position that was already opened before the ticket was purchased, the ticket is void.

6. TICKET-SALE SCHEDULE

Tickets will normally be sold during the following hours:

  • Monday: 11:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday—Drawing Day: 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 11:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.
  • Thursday: 11:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 11:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.

Stockroom601 is normally closed on Sunday.

Business hours and ticket-sale hours may change because of holidays, private events, emergencies, severe weather, closures, or other operational needs.

Tuesday deadline

Ticket sales close promptly at 7:00 p.m. every Tuesday.

A participant who is waiting in line at 7:00 p.m. is not guaranteed the opportunity to purchase a ticket. Payment must be completed and the ticket must be accepted by Stockroom601 before the deadline.

No tickets will be sold or accepted for that week’s drawing after ticket sales have closed.

7. WEEKLY DRAWING

The drawing is normally held each Tuesday at approximately 8:00 p.m.

The drawing includes valid tickets sold during the current drawing period, which normally begins when ticket sales open Wednesday and ends at 7:00 p.m. the following Tuesday.

Before the drawing, Stockroom601 will:

  • End ticket sales;
  • Calculate the current jackpot;
  • Place all accepted tickets into the drawing container;
  • Mix the tickets; and
  • Verify the available card numbers.

One ticket will then be randomly selected.

Only the person whose legal name appears on the selected ticket is the selected participant. Purchasing the ticket for someone else, paying for someone else’s ticket, or possessing another person’s ticket does not create a right to the prize.

8. ATTENDANCE AT THE DRAWING

A selected participant is considered present only when all of the following are true:

  • The participant is physically inside Stockroom601 when their name is announced;
  • The participant identifies themselves to an authorized Stockroom601 representative within five minutes after the name is first announced; and
  • The participant presents acceptable government-issued photo identification upon request.

Being in the parking lot, patio, another business, or on the way to Stockroom601 does not count as being present.

A friend, family member, employee, representative, or other person may not answer or claim the prize for the selected participant.

Telephone calls, text messages, video calls, or other electronic communications do not count as attendance.

Stockroom601’s official timekeeping device will determine all deadlines.

9. OPENING THE SELECTED CARD

The card number written on the valid selected ticket will be opened.

When a ticket does not contain a card number, Stockroom601 will randomly select one of the remaining available numbers.

Once the number has been announced and the opening process has begun, the number cannot be changed.

The selected participant does not need to be present for the card to be opened.

After a card is officially revealed:

  • The card and number will be recorded;
  • That position will remain unavailable for the rest of the current game; and
  • The card will be returned to the board, face up, signed by the person drawn, and drawing date written on the card.

10. PAYOUTS

If the Queen of Hearts is revealed

The selected participant wins:

  • 90% of the verified jackpot when the participant is present under Section 8; or
  • 50% of the verified jackpot when the participant is not present under Section 8.

The unpaid portion will become the starting amount of the next Queen of Hearts jackpot:

  • 10% carries forward when the winner is present.
  • 50% carries forward when the winner is not present.

All other cards

No other card pays a prize.

If any card other than the Queen of Hearts is revealed:

  • No payment is made;
  • The full jackpot carries forward;
  • The revealed position is removed from play; and
  • The game continues the following week.

No participant receives a prize merely because their ticket was selected.

Owners and managers may give out a prize, such as a gift card to Stockroom601, at their discretion.

11. END OF A GAME AND START OF A NEW GAME

The current game ends when the Queen of Hearts is officially revealed.

After the Queen of Hearts is revealed:

  • The winning amount will be calculated;
  • The required portion will be carried into the next jackpot;
  • A new deck containing 52 cards and 2 Jokers will be prepared;
  • New numbered positions will be established; and
  • All 54 positions will again become available.

Tickets from the completed game do not carry into the new game.

12. TICKET DESTRUCTION

After each weekly drawing, all tickets submitted for that drawing will be removed from play and destroyed after any required verification or record-retention period.

Tickets do not remain eligible for future drawings.

Every participant must purchase new tickets for each weekly drawing.

13. JACKPOT INFORMATION

Stockroom601 will display the estimated jackpot and previously revealed card numbers in one or more visible locations.

Displayed jackpot amounts are estimates until ticket sales have closed and the accounting has been completed.

The official jackpot is the amount confirmed by Stockroom601’s records. In the event of a difference between a posted estimate and the verified total, the verified total controls.

The jackpot consists only of eligible Queen of Hearts ticket proceeds and amounts properly carried forward from previous drawings.

14. WINNER VERIFICATION

Before receiving payment, a winner must:

  • Present two acceptable forms of government-issued identification, at least one of which must include a photograph;
  • Provide their correct legal name, address, date of birth, and taxpayer identification number;
  • Complete all forms reasonably required by Stockroom601 or applicable law;
  • Sign a prize-payment receipt;
  • Sign any required tax and withholding acknowledgment;
  • Confirm that the ticket was purchased and submitted in compliance with these rules; and
  • Cooperate with reasonable efforts to verify identity and eligibility.

The identification and information provided must match the name written on the selected ticket.

A prize is not transferable. It cannot be assigned, sold, pledged, gifted, redirected, or paid to another person or business.

15. PAYMENT OF THE PRIZE

After verification, the prize will normally be made available by check no later than 12:00 noon on the Friday following the drawing.

Payment may be delayed when reasonably necessary to:

  • Verify the jackpot;
  • Confirm the winner’s identity or eligibility;
  • Investigate a disputed, altered, or suspicious ticket;
  • Obtain required tax information;
  • Comply with a court order, government request, or legal requirement; or
  • Correct an accounting or administrative error.

A delay made for one of these reasons does not increase the prize or entitle the winner to interest, damages, or an additional payment.

The check will be payable only to the verified person whose legal name appears on the winning ticket.

16. TAXES AND WITHHOLDING

Gambling winnings may be taxable even when no tax is withheld and no tax form is required.

Stockroom601 will:

  • Report winnings when required by law;
  • Issue Form W-2G or another legally required document when applicable;
  • Withhold federal, state, or local taxes when required by law; and
  • Collect the winner’s taxpayer identification information when required.

Any required withholding will be deducted from the winner’s payout.

Stockroom601 does not provide tax, financial, or legal advice and makes no promise concerning a winner’s final tax liability.

Each winner is solely responsible for:

  • Reporting all winnings;
  • Paying all federal, state, and local taxes;
  • Obtaining independent tax advice; and
  • Paying any additional amount that may be owed after withholding.

Refusal to provide legally required information or complete legally required documentation may prevent payment and may result in backup withholding or forfeiture when permitted by law.

17. CLAIM DEADLINE

A verified winner must complete the required claim process and accept the prize within seven business days after the Friday on which the check is first made available.

A winner who fails to complete the claim process by the deadline forfeits the prize unless Stockroom601 determines that an extension is required by law.

A properly forfeited prize will be returned to the Queen of Hearts jackpot and will not become the property of Stockroom601.

18. FRAUD, CHEATING, AND INTERFERENCE

The following conduct is prohibited:

  • Altering, copying, counterfeiting, stealing, or destroying a ticket;
  • Submitting a ticket that was not properly purchased;
  • Giving false information;
  • Attempting to claim another person’s ticket or prize;
  • Colluding with an employee or another participant;
  • Interfering with the ticket container, game board, envelopes, cards, drawing, records, cameras, or equipment;
  • Attempting to identify concealed cards before they are officially opened;
  • Threatening, harassing, bribing, or pressuring employees or witnesses;
  • Purchasing tickets through an ineligible person;
  • Dividing ownership of a ticket in an attempt to avoid these rules or tax requirements; or
  • Using any method intended to create an unfair advantage.

Stockroom601 may void affected tickets, disqualify participants, withhold payment while investigating, prohibit future participation, and report suspected criminal activity.

Disqualification does not entitle the participant to a refund.

19. MISTAKES, EQUIPMENT FAILURES, AND DISPUTED DRAWINGS

Stockroom601 may pause, postpone, or repeat a drawing when reasonably necessary because of:

  • A damaged or compromised ticket container;
  • A power failure;
  • Severe weather or an emergency;
  • A counting or accounting error;
  • A duplicate or missing card;
  • An incorrectly opened card;
  • An equipment or recording failure;
  • Suspected fraud or tampering; or
  • Any circumstance that prevents a fair and verifiable drawing.

If more than one ticket is accidentally drawn, no ticket will be treated as selected until Stockroom601 determines which ticket was drawn first through direct observation, video review, or another reliable method.

If the order cannot be reliably determined, all affected tickets will be returned to the container and the drawing will be repeated.

A clerical, printing, posting, or verbal announcement error does not change the official game records or create a right to a prize.

20. RULE CHANGES

Stockroom601 may clarify, amend, suspend, or discontinue the game when reasonably necessary to protect the game’s legality, fairness, security, or operation.

Unless required by law or necessary to correct fraud, tampering, or a material mistake, a rule change will apply prospectively and will not be used to take away a prize that was validly won under the rules in effect when the ticket was purchased.

Material changes will be posted before they take effect.

No employee’s verbal statement may change these written rules.

21. MANAGEMENT DECISIONS

Stockroom601 management will interpret and apply these rules in good faith.

Management decisions concerning ticket validity, attendance, eligibility, card availability, jackpot calculations, drawing procedures, and prize verification are final to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these rules eliminates any right or obligation that cannot legally be waived.

22. LEGAL STATUS OF THE GAME

Ohio law excludes a pool not conducted for profit from the statutory definition of a “scheme of chance.”

Stockroom601 intends to operate this game so that 100% of ticket proceeds remain in the Queen of Hearts participant pool and are either paid to a qualifying winner or carried forward into a Queen of Hearts jackpot.

Stockroom601 does not retain a cut, rake, administrative fee, service fee, or other portion of ticket proceeds.

The legal status of any game depends on how it is actually operated. These rules do not constitute a guarantee by Stockroom601 that participation has any particular legal or tax consequence.

23. ACCEPTANCE OF RULES

Purchasing, completing, submitting, possessing, or attempting to claim a prize from a Queen of Hearts ticket constitutes full acceptance of these rules.

A participant who does not agree with every rule should not purchase or submit a ticket.

Please play responsibly.
